Jude Okoye, former manager of the defunct music duo P-Square, has been granted bail in the sum of N100 million ahead of his trial for alleged money laundering involving N1.
38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Okoye before the court, leading to his remand at Ikoyi Prison on Friday. However, on Monday, March 3, 2025, the court approved his release on bail under strict conditions.
As part of the bail terms, two sureties must provide N100 million worth of landed property in Lagos, and Okoye is prohibited from traveling outside Nigeria without prior approval.
His trial is scheduled to commence on April 14, 2025.
