Popular Yoruba movie star, Jigan Babaoja, has threatened to sue former Naira Marley signee, Mohbad, for mocking his disability in a yet-to-be-released song.

The singer shared a snippet of his new song ‘Ask About Me, which is scheduled to be released on April 14, 2023, and he appeared to take a swipe at the Nollywood actor in the lyrics.

“Temurege bi Jigan." "Ese Jigan o to le," he sang.
The lyrics didn’t sit well with Babaoja, who has now threatened to sue the singer for defamatory statements.
Sharing a video of the snippet playing in his car via his Instagram page, Jigan Babaoja wrote, “I am taking this up against @iammohbad and I am going to charge him 100 million! This will sound like a big lesson to others!”.

Mohbad is yet to respond to the threat as of the time of filing this report.

This is not the first time the actor will be threatening a lawsuit against a singer for mocking his condition in musical lyrics.

Recall that Jigan Babaoja last year threatened to sue Asake for mocking his inability to walk in one of his songs.

However, no suit was filed against the YBNL artist.
