Wasiu Alabi Odetola, better known by his stage name Pasuma, is a Fuji superstar who recently lost his mother.
On Thursday night, the performer made a statement about Alhaja Adijat Kuburat (Iyawo Anobi).
Pasuma, 55, alerted the public with a succinct statement on his Instagram page.
“MY JEWEL! I will miss you forever! Words fail me! Rest in power and peace; please watch over me from heaven,” he wrote.
More than 3,500 comments were left on the post in just one hour, offering condolences from family, friends, coworkers, and followers.
Pasuma, aka Oganla of Fuji, was born in Mushin, Lagos State, raised in Kwara State, and he began penning songs in 1984.
The musical prodigy was raised by his mother after his father's divorce. He came from a lowly background to become a well-known performer, actor, and businessman.
