Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has taken a firm stance against critics questioning the paternity of her child.
In a recent TikTok live session, the outspoken actress made it clear that she has no obligation to disclose the identity of her child’s father or entertain unsolicited opinions about her private life.
Addressing the issue with her signature candor, Amusa said:
“Those asking for the identity of my husband, is your own husband missing? You guys can be unbecoming. Did censors happen, and they said your husband is kept in the cooler in my room?”
The actress also dismissed those offering half-hearted congratulations, emphasizing that her happiness does not depend on public approval.
“It’s not compulsory you congratulate me. Don’t bother. If it’s not convenient for you, don’t worry. We are not bothered. It’s not our business. I am full of joy where I am,” she declared.
A Call for Privacy and Peace
Amusa highlighted her desire to maintain peace and keep her personal life private, despite public curiosity. She stated:
“There are some certain things you cannot get satisfaction on from people like us. I will only reveal what I want to let out. I want to have peace. I want to maintain my peace and maintain my steeze. That is why my personal life, which you are so interested in, you won’t see it.”
The actress’s remarks come as a reminder that public figures are entitled to their boundaries, even as they navigate life in the spotlight. Amusa remains focused on her joy and personal growth, shutting down critics with grace and unapologetic confidence.
Her response has sparked conversations online, with many applauding her for prioritizing her happiness and setting boundaries.
