Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele is making waves with her highly anticipated movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa.

In a recent viral video alongside the film’s cast, Akindele confidently projected that the movie will rake in a whopping N5 billion at the box office upon its release in December.

“We are aiming for N5 billion this year,” Akindele stated, expressing her unwavering optimism. If this target is met, it will surpass the record set by Akindele's previous film, A Tribe Called Judah, which made history as the first Nigerian movie to gross over one billion naira.

Everybody Loves Jenifa premiered in Lagos on Sunday night, drawing a star-studded crowd, including Akindele’s estranged friend, Eniola Badmus, who also attended the event.
