All of the political posts that were shared on Funke Akindele's Instagram page, a well-known Nollywood actress who is now a politician, have been deleted.

Hours after she lost, Akindele, the People's Democratic Party, PDP, running mate of Abdulazeez Adediran, better known as Jandor, who was running for governor of Lagos State, deleted the posts.

According to a Naijacrawl investigation, all of her campaign-related political appearances and pictures from her rallies were missing.

This comes after the PDP was defeated in the recently held March 18, 2023, gubernatorial elections by the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

With 762,134 votes, Sanwo Olu defeated Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party, who received 312,329 votes. Abdul-Azeez Adediran came in second with 62,449 votes.
