Nigerian entertainer Laff Ijuo Albert has officially completed his attempt to set a Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest stand-up comedy performance by an individual.
Albert kicked off the ambitious 50-hour comedy marathon on February 14 at Banex Mall, Lekki, Lagos, and successfully wrapped it up on Sunday. His achievement is now pending official verification and confirmation by GWR.
Sharing a video of the historic moment on Instagram, Albert revealed that his record-breaking attempt was driven by a mission—to raise $1 million for the Talent City Naija (TCN) project.
The current record for the longest stand-up comedy show stands at 40 hours and 8 minutes, set by American comedian David Scott on April 30, 2013. If confirmed, Albert's feat will shatter this decade-old record and mark a new milestone in comedy history.
Stay tuned for official updates on his Guinness World Record confirmation!
