May D has sparked a heated debate on social media, claiming that Grammy-winning superstar Wizkid wouldn’t have reached his current level of fame if not for May D’s fallout with his former record label, Square Records.
The claim emerged during a fiery exchange on X (formerly Twitter) between Mr. May D and Wizkid's fans. The altercation reportedly began after May D shared a post praising fellow Nigerian artist, Davido.
In his response to the backlash, Mr. May D stated, “If not for what happened between me and Psquare, who is Wiz [Wizkid]? Chai.”
Addressing the attacks, he added, “Because I spoke about David, Wizkid boys are attacking me. Lmao, even Wiz knows I love him, but if y’all come for me, I’ll finish all of you and your oga. Even your Wizkid knows his limits! Don’t fck with me.”*
