Controversial Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has boldly proclaimed himself as the number one musician in West Africa.

During his appearance on the popular podcast 'Curiosity Made Me Ask,' hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, the 'Akpi' hitmaker declared, "I am the number one musician/celebrity in West Africa. No one is hotter than me."

Speed Darlington, known for his viral antics and outspoken nature, emphasized his dominance in the music scene, stating that he is currently the most trending artist in the subregion.

In a related development, the rapper has sternly warned fans against comparing him to fellow controversial singer Portable. He insisted that comparisons to the 'Zazo' crooner are unfounded, asserting his superiority and star status. Speed Darlington highlighted his trouble-free lifestyle, contrasting it with Portable's recent legal troubles, which include a police arrest over an alleged 14 million naira debt for his G-Wagon.
