Kizz Daniel, a Nigerian singer, has formally said his goodbyes to cigarettes.

The ADDICTED singer announced his decision to quit smoking in an Instagram post. The father of two shared a video of himself looking sober and holding a pack of cigarettes, which he later burned.

Kizz Daniel claims that he is doing this for himself, his children, and those who actually care about him. He said that smoking may appear to be hip, but it isn't.

Kizz Daniel also took advantage of the chance to send a message to anyone suffering from an addiction, encouraging them to combat it and do what is right for them.

“To celebrate my birthday, and for the sake of my kids and the people that genuinely like me, I quit. For those of you still struggling with this addiction, it is not cool and it is not good. Trust me “
