Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has once again expressed doubts over the paternity of Liam, his alleged grandson.

Recall that Mohbad tragically passed away on September 12, 2023, with his burial taking place the following day. Amidst the swirling controversies surrounding his untimely demise, Mohbad’s body was exhumed on September 21 for an autopsy conducted by the Lagos State Police Command.

In the wake of Mohbad’s death, Aloba has been vocal in his pursuit of justice. Among his demands, he has repeatedly called for a DNA test to confirm whether Liam, the child of Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi, is truly his biological grandson.

Speaking during an interview on Silverbird Television, Aloba reiterated his suspicions, claiming Liam doesn’t resemble his late son.

In his words:

“No, with what I’m seeing, he’s not my grandson. As a father, they were supposed to bring the child to me. When I demanded a DNA test, they should have said, ‘Daddy, go and do it at your convenient time.’ Now it’s public. Let the court decide.
“I will only accept Liam as my grandson if the DNA test confirms it,” he emphasized.

Joseph Aloba’s remarks have sparked further debate, adding a new layer of intrigue to the ongoing controversy surrounding Mohbad’s family and legacy.
