“I don’t love music. But music and I are friends. One thing I know about music is that it’s reliable—if you put in the work, it delivers. Music doesn’t cheat anyone," he said. "But to say I love music? No, no, no. Music has never gone beyond its nature to give me anything. It’s the effort I’ve put in that it has reciprocated, and I respect that."
He went on to state that while he holds no grudges against music, his feelings remain pragmatic rather than emotional.
