A video circulating the internet shows a zealous pastor wiping the makeup off a bride and her bridesmaid's faces.

The bride and groom are seen standing at the altar about to take their wedding vows when the priest makes a U-turn and begins removing the bride's makeup with a moist napkin in the viral footage.

He also gave the bridesmaid a pair of scissors and told her to scrape the bride's nail polish off her fingernails.

Following his satisfaction with the bride's makeup, the minister went on to wipe the bridesmaids' makeup using the same napkin he used on the bride's face.

While the throng applauded, the groom merely stood and did not move.
