Following a reported overnight shooting, Canadian rapper Drake's Toronto mansion is now at the center of an investigation.

The OVO boss' property was cordoned off by police after an incident near his home resulted in one person sustaining serious injuries, having been shot in the chest.

Toronto police confirmed that the victim is not Drake and has been transported to the hospital for emergency surgery, as reported by Toronto's City News. Authorities received reports of the shooting around 2:09 a.m. ET in the upscale Bridle Path neighborhood.

As of now, no descriptions of the suspect or the vehicle they reportedly fled in have been provided. The investigation is ongoing, and further probe is underway, according to reports.

The motive behind the shooting remains unclear. However, it occurs amid the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, both of whom have been releasing new diss tracks regularly.
