The Nigerian Correctional Center, located in Ilaro in the Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State, has received Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable.
The Zazu singer was given bail for all three of the charges against him in the amount of N800,000. He also had two sureties posted bail in the same amount.
The two sureties, who must live within the jurisdiction of the Ifo court, must also be landowners, according to a decision made by Magistrate A.S. Soneye.
But less than an hour after the court had risen, officers from the correctional facility brought out Portable and put him in a prisoner vehicle that was going to Ilaro.
There are rumors that the singer still needs to adjust his bail requirements.
For allegedly assaulting a police officer, avoiding arrest, and assaulting one of his supporters, Portable was charged.
