The reality show's organizers have announced the requirements for Big Brother Titans, BBTitans, a combination of Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, and Big Brother South Africa, BBMzansi.
According to a statement made public on Wednesday, the show's auditions will start on October 6, 2022.
Remember that John Ugbe, the CEO of Multichoice Nigeria, had announced in September a merger of housemates from South Africa and Nigeria under one roof?
According to the organizers, contestants who are interested and believe they have what it takes should visit MNET.TV/BIGBROTHERTIANS and upload a 2-minute video justifying why they should live in the house.
By October 30th, 2022, participants must be at least 21 years old, according to the statement. As of October 30, 2022, they must be citizens of South Africa or Nigeria or be lawful permanent residents of one of those two countries. They must also have a valid form of identification.
Additionally, according to the organizers, potential participants must be in top physical and mental condition and agree to be examined physically and psychologically by a doctor or doctors in Lagos State who have been chosen by the producers.
”If you are selected by the producers for an interview, you must be willing to travel to Lagos if you are based in Nigeria and to Johannesburg if you are based in South Africa at a time as scheduled by the producers in their sole discretion for the final selection process."
If you are selected to be interviewed, you may be given, and must complete and return (prior to the date of your personal interview), any further application materials (including but not limited to additional psychological and health questionnaires), or documents (such as your birth certificate, passport, and/or other identification), as well as a Medical History form.
It added that one participant would receive the grand prize, subject to change at the producers’ and/or the broadcaster’s discretion.
Meanwhile, BBNaija ended its seventh edition last Sunday, October 3rd, 2022.
Phyna was crowned winner of the season, walking away with a grand prize of N100 million.
