It has always seen as a rumour that both Gold and Simi are dating until late 2018 that it was obvious both artists are dating. It was first shown at Simi's concert when they both kissed passionately in front of their fans. The two artists have managed to keep their relationship on the low to avoid the prying eyes of social media.

Today 9th of January 2019 both Adekunle Gold and Simi will be officially married .This came as a surprise to their fans as they never expected it, as they were not writings on the wall to indicate their marriage is coming soon .

According to reports the wedding is set to take place with only 300 guests invited to the ceremony. The wedding is not elaborate as expected and it'll take place at Victoria island in Lagos State in a location still unknown to many.
