Temilade Openiyi, AKA Tems, won the ‘Best Collaboration Category' at the BET Hip Hop Awards.
Tems won the award for contributing to Future’s' Wait For U 'ft Drake.
The 27-year-old singer had three nominations for her contribution to Future’s "Wait For U": Song of the Year, Best Hip Hop Video, and Best Collaboration Award.
‘Wait For U’ edged out other nominees, including ‘Family Ties’ by Baby Keem & Kendrick Lamar, ‘Way 2 Sexy’ by Drake Featuring Future & Young Thug, and ‘Hot Shit’ by Cardi B, Kanye West & Lil Durk to win the Best Collaboration Award.
Burna Boy was also nominated in the Video Director of the Year category for his self-directed music video, Last Last, although he lost to Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free at the event held on October 4th, 2022.
