Singer Young John Expresses Frustration Over Being Left Out of Best Musician Conversations
Young John, the talented singer and former YBNL producer, has voiced his frustration over being excluded from discussions about the top musicians in Nigeria.
The "Dada" hitmaker took to his X handle to share his thoughts, pointing out that his transition from producer to singer may be the reason for his oversight.
"I see how you all leave me out of conversations probably because I started out as a producer. Continue! Time will tell!" he wrote, hinting that his true potential will eventually be recognized.
Known for his work as an in-house producer at YBNL Nation, Young John played a key role in crafting hit songs for artists like Lil Kesh and Olamide. After leaving YBNL, he launched his singing career with Chocolate City, quickly making a name for himself with a string of successful singles including "Dada," "Xtra Cool," "Big Big Things," "Bahamas," and "Stronger."
Despite the challenges, Young John remains confident that his artistry will speak for itself in time.
