In the midst of the festivities, Wizkid announced on his Twitter and Instagram accounts that he would be releasing new songs shortly. Outsiders, Burna Boy's admirers, dragged him for attempting to take the spotlight from Burna Boy.

They further stated that after Wizkid declined to honor Burna Boy, he tried to divert attention away from him by announcing his new track.

Reacting to the accusation, Wizkid hopped on Instagram again to celebrate all his colleagues for making afrobeats the biggest in the world.
