Wizkid, the Nigerian music mogul, was unable to take home any of the accolades for which he was nominated at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, which took place yesterday night in Las Vegas.



.

Best Global Music Performance (for "Essence" with Temz) and Best Global Music Album (for "Made in Lagos" album) were both nominated for the crooner.

He was defeated by Arooj Aftab in the first category, Best Global Music Performance, and Angelique Kidjo in the second category, Best Global Music Album.
