Yinka Ayefele, a seasoned gospel singer, has been living with a spinal cord injury for 25 years after surviving a horrifying car accident.

In 1997, during the peak of the singer’s fame, he was involved in a car accident with his Volkswagen Beetle, after which he was hospitalized for months.

Yinka Ayefele, who walks with the aid of a wheelchair, counts his blessings as he recounts the incident after 25 years.

While sharing photos from the accident scene, Ayefele wrote in an Instagram post;

“It was exactly 25 years ago . today.. Just keep thanking God on my ... behalf… It was on December 12th, 1997. My Turing point… point… "I shall forever be grateful to the owner of my destiny,” he wrote.
