A concert that Young Thug allegedly planned to perform over the summer is the subject of a lawsuit seeking up to $150,000 (£124,608) in damages.

The rapper, real name Jeffery Williams, allegedly had a June 18 concert scheduled at Atlanta's State Farm Arena but was unable to make it because of a recent arrest.

Williams was scheduled to receive $300,000 (£249,216), half of which had already been paid in advance, for a 45-minute set, with the remaining sum to be paid after the performance.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution via HipHopDX, concert promoter A-1 Concert Entertainment has asserted that they have still not received the $150,000 advance.

"It was immediately apparent in May 2022 that Williams would not be able to perform as required in the Agreement due to his arrest and the nature of the felony criminal charges against Williams," the filing continued. The sum of $150,000 that is owed to A-1 Concert has not yet been paid.

A YSL Touring representative assured the publication that a refund would be given.
