ontroversial media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has urged Nigerian women to view their husbands as their "heads" rather than partners.
In a video message shared on his Instagram account, Daddy Freeze highlighted that various cultural and religious traditions, including African, Middle Eastern, Christian, and Islamic, emphasize the husband's role as the head of the family, contrasting with the Western concept of considering spouses as equals.
He emphasized the importance of women carefully choosing whom to submit their headship to, underscoring the significance of traditional beliefs in Nigerian society.
