No fewer than three Zimbabweans were killed yesterday in Harare when members of the opposition party; Movement For Democratic Change (MDC) were protesting against the unexplainable delay of the election's results by the Zimbabwean Electoral Commission (ZEC).
It should be noted that troops were deployed to Harare in order to restore order to the capital city but unfortunately the troops opened fire on the protesting members a situation that led to the death of three people. However, the electoral monitoring group from US and UK have expressed concern over the delay of the election's result by ZEC which is causing upheaval in the country and the observers are of the opinion that the reasons for the delaying of the election's results must be probed. In the meantime, ZEC is expected to officially announce the delaying election's results anytime soon.
