The Lagos State Police Command has said some vandals were arrested around 1am today.

They were arrested while a patrol team from Ijora Badia Division stop the two occupants in a Mitsubishi Lancer car conveying vandalized railway tracks.

The two occupants were arrested and taken into custody for further investigation. This is yet another example of the efforts of the Nigerian police force to clamp down on those who engage in illegal activities such as vandalizing railway tracks.

It is important to note that vandalism is a serious crime according to Nigeria constitution and it has caused disruption to the transportation system in Nigeria, which affects everyone negatively. The arrest of these two individuals will serve as a warning to others who may be tempted to engage in this kind of criminal activity.
