The state of insecurity in Nigeria is alarming.

This is no longer news as our ears are already used to this. But, no matter how bad it gets, we must never lose our sensitivity to other people's plight around us. That is the core of humanity.

There were simultaneous robbery attacks yesterday in Egbe town, Kogi State involving 3 banks - Access Bank, First Bank and UBA.

This happened between 2:00pm to 4:30 pm. The robbers killed and maimed and looted.

According reports, they first went to the local police station to disable the police, then they began their orchestrated attack all at the same time so no one bank could help the other.

In the process, they attacked a POS operator in the vicinity, beat him to a pulp, then carted away things.

The police spokesman in the state has confirmed the incident.
