The decision of the National and State House of Assembly Election Tribunal in Asaba, Delta State, has been overturned by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.

The tribunal had declared Ndudi Elumelu, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, the winner of the 2023 election for the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency of Delta State, according to The Daily Post.

However, in a decision on Thursday, the appellate court upheld Ngozi Okolie, a candidate for the Labour Party (LP), as the legitimately elected lawmaker.
