Brigadier General S. Fulani, a senior Army officer, was ambushed by gunmen in Abuja.
According to sources, the Army General was attacked around Life Camp in the nation's capital on Wednesday evening.
He was thought to be on his way to his home in the neighborhood.
Fulani's Toyota Venza, with the license plate ABJ41JB, was also taken by the attackers.
