It is no longer news that scammers develop new ways to scam people of their hard earn money, and this can be seen in different areas of business raging from fake investment, fake betting odds and many more.

Naijacrawl has considered it expedient to keep exposing the nature and modus operandi of these scammers.

Our latest scam unveiling is about sportbety and other betting scam.

It should be noted that, there are many forms of scamming related to betting, and besides fake odds, some scammers can deduct all the fund in your bank account through your saved debit card on the betting platform.

On the latest scam, these scammers enticed their victims by sending them a legit betting website and encouraged the victims to deposit with at least #1000 (it is not that they are interested in the 1K only).

After the victim has successfully deposited, the scammers would then forward a link (encoded form) to the victim to fill his sportybet details by assuring him that they can help to increase the winning rate.

However, if the victims mistakenly entered his/her details in the link they sent him/her. They would have access to his account, and they can see the details of the "debit card" he/she used to deposit.

And with the technical fault that doesn't require OTP from sportybet, they can withdraw all the saving in the victim bank account.

Beware of fraudsters!

Below are screenshots of our investigation with one of the scammers.
