A new development has emerged in the ongoing leadership crisis affecting the Taraba State Football Association (FA).
This comes as the current chairman, Timothy Heman, was fired by the Federal High Court, which is located in the state capital of Jalingo.
Sanusi Mahmoud, the plaintiff, was directed to take office as the association's chairman in the State immediately by the court's presiding judge, Justice Simone Amobeda.
The crisis, which has persisted for the past three years, has had a negative effect on the state's football game.
The Judge issued a dire warning to the current chairman to stop posing as the State FA chairman immediately.
The national association was further ordered by the court to stop doing business with the chairman who is currently in place.
Excited by the decision's outcome, Mahmoud's attorney, Isa Buba, urged the party who had been wronged to work with Mahmoud to advance football in Taraba.
