Though the Indigenes of Abuja were jubilating when President Tinubu announced Zephaniah Jisalo, a former Abuja Municipal Area Council Chairman and two-time AMAC/Bwari House of Reps Member as one of the ministerial nominees.

Which make him to becomes the first Minister from the FCT.

However, a popular governance analyst, Dr Joe Abah has claimed that it wouldn't be a good idea for the president to appoint the FCT Indigene as the FCT Minister.

He said:

Will he be assigned to FCT? | “FCT gets first ministerial nominee as Tinubu sends second list to senate.”

From what I gathered from his folks. They only expected him to be named as Minister. But as FCT Minister will be an icing.

Tinubu has his ears on ground. And rewards accordingly.

It would be interesting if he’s not appointed FCT Minister but appointing him FCT Minister will set a precedent and start the agitation that all future FCT Ministers must be from the FCT. For this reason, if I were the President, I won’t appoint him FCT Minister.

Meanwhile, several people are not in agreement with his position.

AND AS LONG AS THIER LEADERSHIP CARISMA IS IN TENDER WITH PRINCIPLE OF UNITY, THEY CAN BE MADE TO CONTINUE REIGNS AS FCT MINISTER AS LONG AS THEIR PERFORMANCE MEET THE DESIROUS GOAL. I DEBUNKED JOE ABA REMARKS ON INSINUATION OF UNSUPPORTIVE MOVE OF TOUGHT INDIGENT MAY CONTINUE TO BE MINISTER. IF THAT IS SO, IT NOT BAD. THEY HAVE LONG OVER DUE TO BE TESTED, IT IS NOT AN EXCUSE TO DECLINE THE GOOD THING DONE BY THE PRESIDENT. HON ZAPHANIAH JISALO WILL BE THE TEST, IN A GOOD NOTE, HE HAS BEEN A PERFORMER, A LEADER WHO HAS BEEN TESTED, TRUSTED AND BELIEVE WILL BRIDGE AND BUILD FCT THAT WILL STAND THE TEST OF TIME.
