In Ondo State, a truck driver allegedly committed adultery by tying his wife to a well.

Muyiwa Sikiru, a distraught husband, was reportedly informed by friends and neighbors that his wife had been housing a man in their marital home in the Oke-Aro Area of Akure South Local Government.

Sikiru, a native of Osun State, had been away for three months when he returned on July 4th to discover another man residing in his house along with his wife and their three-year-old son.

According to sources, Sikiru moved his family to Akure and then relocated to another state in search of work.

According to one of the sources, the man arrived in Akure on Saturday and made a stop at his friend's house before heading home to meet his family.

Furious over his wife's infidelity, the husband stormed into their cramped apartment when he got there, dragged her outside, and tied her to the well next to the house.

Sources claim that while other neighbors helped carry their child, the man chained his estranged wife's wrists and tied her to the pole of a well outside the house.

It was learned that the lover boy, who had had a bath in the bathroom prior to the man’s arrival, fled via the window when he overheard the man’s voice.

It was said that some women later took the woman and her husband to the closest police station.
