EFCC BOSS SKIPS QUESTIONS PERTAINING TO GANDUJE BRIBERY
Ibrahim Magu who is the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today Monday bluntly refused to answer questions on the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje bribery allegation.
In a process of celebrating his third year in office, Magu had welcomed journalists for a press conference to highlight how far he has don his best.
The acting EFCC boss had reeled out the accomplishments of the anti-graft agency in the last three years including a large number of convictions and recoveries. recuperations.
However, during the question and answer session, Magu was asked to confirm if the EFCC was investigating Ganduje who was allegedly caught on camera collecting kickbacks from contractors. He just stated, "Next question please."
It is to be noted that the Kano State House of Assembly had begun investigations into the matter but was stopped by a court from going further.
