Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has urged Nigerian leaders to embrace transparency and accountability in governance, especially in managing public resources, as the nation faces significant economic challenges.

Speaking through RCCG National Overseer Emeritus, Pastor Joseph Obayemi, at the Hallelujah Mega Praise, Season 3, in Shimawa, Ogun State, Pastor Adeboye highlighted that Nigeria's ongoing struggles are largely self-inflicted, driven by corruption and poor resource management.

In his address to the congregation, Pastor Adeboye stressed that true leadership must be grounded in sincerity and integrity to overcome Nigeria's economic issues. He referenced the tragic stampedes during food palliative distributions as a stark reminder of the consequences of mismanagement. "If corruption and bribery are eliminated, and leaders genuinely commit to the nation’s progress, we will see a change," he stated. "Nigeria is rich in both human and mineral resources. What we need now is sincere leadership, determination, faithfulness, and integrity."

His message comes at a time when Nigeria's economic crisis has left millions struggling to meet basic needs. Adeboye emphasized that with the nation's vast resources, a genuine commitment to leadership reforms could transform Nigeria’s fortunes and improve the lives of its citizens.

This powerful call for leadership transformation echoes across the nation, urging Nigerian leaders to act with integrity and put the country's welfare first for lasting economic recovery.
