Governor Agbu Kefas has established a committee tasked with determining the value of all stolen property in Taraba State and locating it.

The Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Gebon Kataps, provided the Daily Post in Jalingo, the state's capital, with a press release containing the announcement.

The committee must figure out how many movable and immovable assets are located in Kaduna, including the liaison office in Lagos, Abuja, and any other region of the Federal Capital Territory.

The committee was instructed by the governor, who is adamant about getting back all of the state's stolen property, to conduct an overall evaluation of the financial worth of each asset as well as the appropriateness of its use by the state government.

The Committee was instructed to provide the state government with pertinent recommendations. The Committee has four weeks to submit its reports to the government.

Habila Vintenaba, a retired major general, is in charge of it, and Saleh Aji serves as secretary.

Other members are Rtd. Colonel Nwunuke Agyo, Rtd. Navy Captain Atiku Bakari, Professor Mahmud Hamid Umar, and Fatima Hassan, among others.
