It was a pathetic day in Anambra yesterday has some yet to be identified gunmen who attacked the officers of Nigerian Correctional Services that were escorting some inmates to court in Ekwulobia.



The gunmen opened fire on the prison officer staff and the NSCDC personnel there and therefore cast away with weapons and the inmate were yet to be found.

It is unclear if the gunmen were on a rescue operation for the inmate or just gunmen that want weapons.
