Lagos Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat, advised residents on Wednesday not to allow inexperienced candidates to take over governance.
Hamzat spoke at Igbobi College in Yaba at a session with the University of Lagos Alumni Association and alumni of other tertiary institutions in the state.
Hamzat said the re-election of flagbearers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday would ensure a better state and country.
The former Commissioner of Works said successive governments of the APC had done a lot to improve the standard of living of residents.
Hamzat mentioned improvements in healthcare delivery, security, the environment, and road networks, among others.

The deputy governor appealed to all residents to be law-abiding during and after the governorship and house of assembly polls.
