The Lagos State Police Command has launched an investigation into a viral video showing three suspected kidnappers allegedly caught in Victory Estate, Ago Palace, Lagos.

The video, which has been widely shared on social media, captures local residents interrogating the suspects. In the footage, the men reportedly confessed to being involved in kidnapping activities.

Despite the incident not being formally reported to the police, Lagos Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed via his official X handle on Wednesday that investigations are already underway.

He stated, "Investigations have commenced to unravel what truly transpired, locate the men, and take further necessary actions. The estate chairman, two other exco members, and a resident are currently assisting the police with the ongoing investigations. Further updates will be provided in due course."
