There has been a lot of backlashes concerning the action by a lecturer at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Unizik, who used scissors to trim off a male student’s hairstyle for looking bushy.

The student who didn't react when his hair being cut off was said to have been keeping the hair for a long time.

However, the lecturer based his judgement on the look of the guy and decided to embarrass him in the class by getting the hair off.

In the meantime, a lot of netizens have started reacting to the development and demanding for the suspension of the lecturer for infringement of the student's right.

The authority of the school is yet to respond to this development.
