Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), won a polling unit in Adamawa State after the announcement of the result.
Adamawa is known to be the stronghold of the presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.
At Adamawa: PU35, Karewa, Yola North LGA, Obi polled 120 votes, while Atiku scored 82 votes and the All Progressives Party's (APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, got 26 votes. The presidential candidate of the NNPP polled two votes.
Meanwhile, at Atiku’s polling unit in Ajiya Ward, Old GRA, Jimeta, where the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Mohammed Bello, also voted, he scored impressive votes to record the first historic win of his unit since 2007, when he started seeking to be president.
At his Ajiya Ward 012 unit, the PDP flagbearer got 282 votes against 57 for the APC, 6 for the LP, and 1 for the NNPP.
