A controversial Nigerian gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi has taken to his Instastoies to share his thoughts on the Nigerian music industry.

According to him, 80% of Nigerian music is noisy, meaningless, and toxic. The gay rights activist inferred that the quality of music is why Nigerians are ''noisy, meaningless and toxic."

According to him, the remaining 20% of meaningful music does not interest Nigerians because they are not "emotionally intelligent to appreciate good music.".
