In a recently surfaced viral video, Senator Kalu addressed the purported discord between the party and El-Rufai, dismissing it as premature for the former governor to critique the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking with ABN TV, Senator Kalu reaffirmed his faith in Tinubu's capabilities to enact meaningful change despite prevailing economic hardships. He emphasized the importance of unity within the party and urged a collective focus on delivering the party's mandate to the Nigerian people, particularly amidst widespread challenges.

"I firmly believe that Tinubu has the potential to excel. In a democracy, once the President is effectively leading, discussions about alternative presidential candidates diminish. Therefore, I am confident that the APC will fulfill its obligations to the Nigerian populace, who are currently grappling with various difficulties," stated Senator Kalu.

Acknowledging the widespread distress among Nigerians, Senator Kalu stressed the imperative for President Tinubu to prioritize governance over political maneuvering. He urged a cohesive approach within the party, urging members to refrain from engaging in divisive discourse, particularly regarding figures such as Mallam El-Rufai.

"Mallam El-Rufai is a valued member of our political family, and I prefer not to delve into discussions concerning him. What matters now is our collective commitment to supporting President Tinubu's leadership during these challenging times," Senator Kalu asserted.

Senator Kalu's remarks underscore a call for unity and focus within the party, highlighting the necessity for cohesive governance amidst ongoing hardships. As speculation persists, his words serve as a reminder of the importance of prioritizing the nation's interests above individual agendas.
