"As a seasoned lawyer, I cannot support arguments based merely on allegations," Obono-Obla stated. "No matter how enticing it might sound, suspicion alone does not equate to guilt. This is a fundamental principle of law."

Obono-Obla stresses that accusations must be substantiated through proper investigation and judicial processes. He questions whether the allegations against these individuals have been thoroughly investigated, if a prima facie case has been established, and if they have been convicted by a competent court.

In his view, suggesting that someone should be in jail without clear evidence and due judicial procedure is speculative and ungrounded.
