This particular ugly incident happened in ikoyi prisons Lagos Nigeria as a police officer out of annoyance shot his wife dead before taking his own life too. According to reports, the wife identified as Mrs Peace Edward, a mother of two was killed after she has closed from work and retired to her home on the evening of Sunday 27 day of October 2019. The lady was said to be a prison wardress also attached to the intelligent department of the Nigerian correctional services, they also stated that she has stopped staying with the husband for a while before the incident due to some infidelity allegations labelled against her by her husband. The man then timed her that evening and shot her dead in front of their two children. The Nigerian police force and the Nigerian prison services are still investigating the whole incident in order to ascertain the real cause of the man's drastic action.
