It was an aluta day for some sacked staff sacked by Access Bank of Nigeria, who staged a peaceful protest at the Access Bank headquarters in Lagos.

It will be recalled that during the recent lockdown cum pandemic which affected many business organizations, some staff of the bank were relieved of their job without adequate settlement.

They are demanding for their entitlement. The hashtag #PayUsOurEntitlement is now trending on twitter!

A leaked video of the MD/CEO Mr. Herbert Wigwe justifying their sack went viral during that period.

Meanwhile, the Apex bank has made a directive that no bank should sack any staff but Access Bank still proceeded with the process.
