Just two days that the Chief Imam of Atiba community in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Sheikh Mushafau Bakare, who was allegedly abducted on Wednesday, the Iman has now been found dead inside his car.

He was reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Wednesday night at his residence in Ijebu-Ode.

Following a thorough search by members of the community and security agents, the prominent Islamic cleric’s lifeless body was discovered inside his Toyota Highlander in Ikangba area in Odogbolu Local Government Area of the state

The body of the deceased was found on yesterday (Thursday) morning by security agents in the area.

And he has been interred on Thursday according to Islamic rites.
