The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has made a startling arrest in Gosa Kipikipi village, Lugbe, Abuja.
Nuhu Ezra was apprehended with a human skull and bones, a discovery that has sent shockwaves through the community.
Josephine Adeh, the command's spokesperson, revealed this in a statement to DAILY POST on Wednesday. She detailed that Ezra was arrested on Tuesday by officers from the Iddo police division following a tip-off from credible intelligence sources.
During interrogation, Ezra confessed to picking up the body parts while hunting in Kuje, intending to sell them for N600,000. This alarming revelation has prompted FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh, to order a thorough investigation.
The investigation aims to uncover the origin of the body parts and the identity of the potential buyer. It will also determine whether Ezra was involved in any killings to obtain the remains and how long he has been engaged in this gruesome activity.
Commissioner Igweh has urged residents to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police to ensure the safety and security of the community.
