Yesterday in Abuja, the ECOWAS Chairman, President Bola Tinubu hosted some presidents of the West Africa countries in Abuja.
The heads of state were Umaro Emabalo, president of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau; Patrice Talon, president of the Republic of Benin; Bazoum Mohamed, president of the Republic of Niger; and Touray Assumes, president of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) commission.
They were received at the presidential villa in Abuja.
The purpose of the meeting is yet to be made public.
