The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday postponed the Tinubu/Shettima campaign rally slated to hold in Taraba State on Friday.
However, the party has now given reasons for taking the action, this was made known by the Taraba APC governorship candidate for Taraba, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, explained. He explained why the campaign rally was postponed.
The Taraba South senator said the postponement was because the scheduled date fell on Friday, which is a weekly congregation (Hajjul-Masakeen) for Muslims.
Bwacha explained the Presidential Campaign Council, as a policy, does not hold rallies on Fridays and Sundays which are holy days for Muslims and Christians, respectively.
In a statement he personally signed, the Taraba APC guber flag bearer regretted the inconveniences caused by the postponement.
